The Flatmates
We create beautiful bars styled on fictional flatshares that make you feel like you’re walking into someone’s home.
We’re best known for throwing weekly house parties, dinner parties and private events. Our story started ten years ago when we began as a pop-up in Notting Hill. Since then, we’ve opened six amazing, permanent flats across London and won multiple awards, including Best Hospitality Business by London Lifestyle Awards, Best Bar in London by Tatler Magazine, Best Bottomless Brunch by the Evening Standard.
We’re incredibly proud of what we have created and would love to show you around! Having thrown countless house parties and dinner parties over the years, we’ve brought our first flat in Shoreditch to create an authentic, homely, and unpretentious environment for guests to eat, drink and dance in the setting of an epic house party

Our Flat
We are a 300-capacity cocktail bar and restaurant located in the heart of Shoreditch. Situated on the corner of Old Street and Great Eastern Street, Neon is the Flatmates' newest and biggest flat, offering two floors of unapologetic house-party fun with five unique rooms to explore. License: all days are available for private hire.
Sitting Room
Ground Floor
A vibrant and cosy sitting room for up to 50 people. The space features a statement tiled fireplace and relaxed mixed seating with direct access to the library bar.
Capacity: 21 seated | 50 standing
Kitchen & Living Room
Ground Floor
Where the best conversations usually happen – now the heart of the house party. It features a Smeg Fridge, a long library bar and banquette seating, perfect for groups. It comes with our feature kitchen island where our DJ’s will be spinning kitchen discos live Wednesday - Saturday.

Games Room
Mezzanine
Our mezzanine plays host to the ultimate games room, the perfect space to unwind in. Complete with its own bar, retro games, a DJ station and giant screen with Nintendo 64. This room is the ultimate hang out for a special occasion – our karaoke dressing room sits next door and can be reserved privately as well

Located on the mezzanine floor, the Games Room is a playful space packed with entertainment and a nostalgic late-night atmosphere.

A giant screen with Nintendo 64, table football, and a ping pong table that transforms into a secondary DJ station later in the evening.

Head up to the mezzanine to find the Games Room, where guests can enjoy a range of games before the space transitions into a late-night setting with a nostalgic disco and house soundtrack.

Our packages & menus are designed for large groups to share.
Expect an eclectic selection of tasty bar snacks, mouthwatering burgers, weekend brunches, plus canapés and bowls for special events. Our cocktails are inspired by our DVD collection with a mix of classics and tasty new twists, as well as our famous sharers served in vessels you might find lying around your house like vases and disco balls!
